丽 Introduction to Lijiang 丽江市位于滇西北，金沙江中上游，地处青藏高原向云贵高原过渡地带和滇、川、藏三省区结合部，总面积2.06万平方公里，辖古城区、玉龙纳西族自治县、永胜县、华坪县、宁蒗彝族自治县，总人口116多万人，其中少数民族占总人口的57.3%。丽江历史上就是滇西北政治经济文化中心，是汉唐时代通往西藏和印度、泥泊尔等地的南方丝绸之路和茶马古道上的重要物资集散地。 Lijiang city is located at the northwest of Yunnan Province, upper-middle reaches of Jinsha River, in the transitional area from Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the large delta-shaped region among Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet, with a total area of 20,600 sq.km. It has jurisdiction over ancient city, Jade Dragon Naxi Nationality Autonomous County, Yongsheng County, Huaping County, and Ninglang Yi Nationality Autonomous County with total population of over 1,100,000 and 22 minority nationalities which takes up 57.3% of the total population. In history, Lijiang is the political, economic and cultural center of northwest of Yunnan Province and also the important center of material collecting and distributing of Southern Silk Road and Ancient Tea-Horse Road leading to Tibet, India, Nepal etc. in Han and Tang Dynasties.丽江地理位置独特，历史文化悠久，资源丰富，自然景观绚丽多彩，民族风情淳朴浓郁，拥有世界文化遗产、世界自然遗产、世界记忆遗产、国家重点风景名胜区、中国历史文化名城等多项桂冠。全市最具优势和开发潜力的资源主要有文化、旅游、生物和水能资源。 Lijiang owns many titles of World Cultural Heritage, World Natural Heritage, Memory of the World, Key National Scenic Area, Chinese Famous Historic and Cultural City etc. with particular geographical position, long history and rich culture, honest and dense nationality amorous feedings. The culture, tourism, biology, and hydropower resources are the main resource with the advantage and development potential most in this city. |
